Georgios Milios

Georgios Milios és Professor Lector «Serra Húnter» de Dret Constitucional en la Universitat de Barcelona i Doctor en Dret (2016) per la mateixa universitat. És llicenciat en Dret per la Universitat Aristotèlica de Tessalònica, a Grècia, i té un màster en Dret Comunitari per la Universitat d’Estocolm, a Suècia (2011). Ha participat en projectes de recerca relacionats amb els drets dels estrangers a l’Estat espanyol, però també a nivell comunitari i internacional, i ha publicat diversos articles en revistes internacionals (entre altres, European Journal of Migration and Law, International Journal on Minority and Group Rights i Yearbook of European Law) sobre aquesta matèria. Imparteix docència i coordina el mòdul jurídic del Màster Interuniversitari en Migracions Contemporànies (organitzat per la Universitat de Barcelona i la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). Així mateix, ha realitzat estades de recerca en la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona i en l’Institut de Dret Europeu (Institut für Europarecht) de la Universitat de Friburg, a Suïssa. Actualment, és membre de l’Observatori de Dret Públic (IDP) de la Universitat de Barcelona i del centre de recerca CER-Migracions.

Els seus actuals interessos de recerca estan en el dret d’asil i refugi, el dret de la immigració i el Conveni Europeu de Drets Humans i el dret a la no discriminació.
